Bistable electronic pulse relay (Start–Stop / memory relay) TENSE, 150–260 V AC
The bistable electronic pulse relay from manufacturer TENSE (Turkey) enables control of lighting or other devices from any number of locations using parallel-connected pushbuttons. It is suitable for home installations, commercial buildings, and industrial systems where simple pulse control is needed without using traditional staircase or cross switches.
Description and function
The relay allows switching devices on or off based on a short pulse from a momentary (doorbell) switch. The internal bistable mechanism ensures that the relay changes state after pressing and remains in that state until the next pulse. This provides simple and reliable control of one or more parallel-connected controllers.
A major advantage of this model is increased safety – there is no need to supply the pushbutton input with 220/230 V mains voltage. A simple short circuit of the pushbutton contacts is sufficient, which does not endanger the user nor require the use of live conductors at the control location.
