The TRM-400 digital overload protection relay is designed to protect loads from damage caused by high currents and simultaneously allows monitoring of operation.

Purpose of the device and principle of operation

1. Connect the device according to the enclosed wiring diagram.
2. After completing the wiring, connect the power supply. After upon activation, the display will show the set values for 5 seconds.
3. To set the value for overload use the "A>" regulator. The set value is displayed on on the left display.
4. To set the delay time use the "t" regulator. The set value is also shown on the left on the display.

When the device is turned on:

• The relay activates, the output contact switches to terminal 3 and the OUT indicator lights up.
• If the current exceeds the set value overload (A>), the device counts down the delay time during which the ERR indicator lights up.
• After the set time expires, the relay switches off contact switches to terminal 1 and the OUT indicator turns off.

The TRM-400 series electronic current relay is designed for automatic consumer shutdown when exceeding the maximum allowed currents. Reset Modes

• Manual Mode: To reset the device after for overload, the Reset button must be pressed. In this mode, the LED lights up corresponding LED.
• Semi-Automatic Mode: The device allows automatic system reset three times upon overload occurrence and then waits manual reset on the next error. The corresponding LED lights up.
• Automatic Mode: The device allows automatic system reset on every overload error. The LED lights up corresponding LED.

Note: To change the mode, press and hold the SELECT button 10 seconds. After changing the mode, the corresponding LED will light up.
