Three-phase current relay for load current control/limitation in range 40–100 A, manufacturer TENSE (Turkey)

The TRM-100 digital overcurrent relays are designed to protect loads from damage caused by excessive current while simultaneously enabling operation monitoring.

Device use and principle operation

1. Connect the device according to the wiring diagram.
2. After completing the wiring, turn on the power supply. After turning on, the display will show the set values for 5 seconds.
3. Use the "A>" regulator to adjust the overcurrent value. The set value is displayed on left display.
4. Use the "t" regulator to adjust the delay time. The set value is also shown on the left display.

When the device is on:
• The relay activates, the output contact switches to terminal 3, and the OUT indicator.
• If the current exceeds the set overcurrent value (A>), the device starts counts down the delay time and the ERR indicator lights up.
• After the time expires, the relay switches off, the contact switches to terminal 1, and the OUT indicator turns off.

Description

The TRM-100 series electronic current relay is designed for for automatic disconnection of the load when exceeding the maximum allowed currents.
Allows adjustment of the trip current, delay time, and reset time.
Available are 3 return-to-"operational" modes — MANUAL, SEMI-AUTOMATIC, and AUTOMATIC.

Reset modes:

• Manual mode: After an overcurrent fault, it is necessary to reset the device by pressing the Reset button. In this mode, the corresponding LED indicator.
• Semi-automatic mode: The system automatically resets after an overcurrent fault blinks three times, then waits for manual reset at the next fault. In this mode, the corresponding LED light is on. The corresponding LED light.
• Automatic mode: The system automatically resets after each overcurrent fault. In this mode, the corresponding LED light is on.

Note: To change the mode, hold the SELECT button 10 seconds. After changing the mode, the corresponding LED light will turn on.

Asymmetry 50% (fixed)

If the difference between the highest and lowest phase If the current exceeds 50%, the device will enter fault mode within 2 seconds asymmetry.
(This prevents system damage during motor operation in case of loss of one phases.)

In case of asymmetry fault:
• The display group of the two phases that caused the fault starts blinking and The ERR indicator lights up.
• To exit fault mode, the device must be manually reset.
