Clamp-on measuring transformer for primary rated currents of 1500 A, secondary current 5 A, rated power 20 VA, supplied in accuracy class 0.5S, ONKA.

Highly precise current measuring transformer designed for indirect measurement of alternating current in electrical networks and distribution systems. Used for ammeters, multimeters, electricity meters, automation systems, and protective circuits.

Description and application

The transformer converts high primary current (up to 1500 A) into a standard and safe secondary current of 5 A, intended for:

Ensures precise measurement of sinusoidal alternating current and, thanks to the accuracy class 0.5S, is also suitable for commercial measurements, consumption monitoring, and energy audits. Installation is quick – the transformer simply mounts onto a 100 mm diameter busbar.
