Device description

RGT-12 SVC is a 12-step three-phase reactive power controller with a graphic LCD display, compatible with SVC (Static VAR Compensation).

• Used for compensation of inductive and capacitive reactive power.

• If inductive reactive power comes from the grid → the controller switches on the capacitors.

• If capacitive reactive power comes from the grid → the controller switches on the shunt reactor.

• Effectively reduces the ratio between inductive and capacitive energy and optimizes the power factor.

• Provides effective stepped compensation for unbalanced systems.

What is SVC (TCR)?

SVC is a static reactive power compensation system with thyristor-controlled reactors, enabling continuous and fast capacitive power compensation in the system.
