About the device

RGT-MT18 is an 18-step power factor correction controller with a touchscreen, three-phase, compatible with SVC (TCR).

• Used for reactive power compensation (inductive and capacitive).

• If inductive reactive power comes from the grid, the controller connects the capacitors.

• If capacitive reactive power comes from the grid, the controller connects the shunt reactor.

• The goal is to reduce the ratio between inductive and capacitive as well as active and reactive energy in the system.

• Enables effective stepwise compensation for unbalanced systems.

What is SVC (TCR)?

SVC – Static VAR Compensation is a static reactive power compensation system that uses thyristor-controlled reactors for continuous and fast compensation of capacitive power in the system.
