Product description

The three-phase phase relay FKV-14P is designed to protect three-phase electric motors and devices from critical power supply faults. It provides comprehensive monitoring of phase presence, phase drop, phase jamming (break), asymmetry (fixed 40%), incorrect phase sequence, and excessive motor winding temperature. Equipped with a neutral conductor and intended for DIN rail mounting.

Operating principle

  • Normal operation: If all three network voltages are present, phase sequence is correct, and winding temperature is within limits, relay engages (contacts 15–18 closed) and LED OUT lights.

  • Voltage or asymmetry fault: If voltage deviation of any phase exceeds 40%, contacts 15–18 open and 15–16 close; LED OUT turns off.

  • Phase sequence fault: Relay responds by opening contacts and turning off LED OUT.

  • Winding temperature exceedance: Relay disconnects output until temperature returns to allowed limits.

  • Return to operation: After parameters normalize, the relay automatically returns to operating state.
