Phase control relay FKV-11 | TENSE

The phase control relay FKV-11 is designed to protect three-phase devices from key power supply faults – primarily from phase lock (reversed phase sequence), phase loss, and phase asymmetry. The relay ensures reliable operation of electric motors, pumps, compressors, and other three-phase equipment.

The model is equipped with fixed asymmetry 30% and intended for installation on one DIN rail.

How the FKV-11 relay works (operating algorithm)

Normal operation

• All three phase voltages are present.

• Phases are connected in the correct sequence.

• Voltage is within the allowed range.

• Contacts 2–3 are connected, LED OUT is lit → output active.

Asymmetry or voltage deviation

• If the voltage of one phase changes by more than 30 %or if the summed multi-directional change value exceeds this limit:

  • LED ASM (asymmetry signaling) will light up,

  • contacts 2–3 are disconnected,

  • contacts 1–2 are connected,

  • LED OUT turns off.

Return to normal

• If the voltage returns to the allowed range,

• the relay reactivates the output and contacts return to the 2–3 connected position.
